One of only 12 Certified Special Event Professional’s in Canada.  She is one of those rare young women who motivates and inspires and whose success can be largely attributed to her dedicated enthusiasm, passion and charisma.  She is an ambitious entrepreneur who believes in the people she works with.  She is the founder and President of Event Edge and has served on the board for ISES Canada, Toronto and Canadian Special Events..  She is an industry leader, speaker and teacher in Events Management Certificate Program at Ryerson and previously at the University of Barcelona.

She as presented as a speaker at a host of events including The Special Event Show, Event Solutions, RSVP Show in London England, Global Meeting’s and Incentive Exhibition,  Canadian Special Events and Meeting Show, Biz Bash Toronto, Canadian Organizers of Campus Events, Association of Fundraising Professionals, Mastering the Art of Special Events and the Learning Annex Toronto.

Her event experience includes organizing over 14 international trade shows, Canadian Consulate General reception in Los Angeles, and corporate clients including Goodrich, Daimler Chrysler, Rogers, Primus, Telus, Bell, BD, Baxter and Apotex to name a few of the 500+ corporate events she has organized.

Past awards include Leadership Award with International Special Events Society Toronto, “Best Theme Décor Under $10,000” , Nomination for Producer of the Year, with Canadian Special Events and Best Business Achievement Award with Self Employment Development Initiatives.

Carol is also a Reiki Master.  She continues her commitment to mentor future event planners.  She believes her success is attributed to those who taught her.
