Special Event Boot Camp was custom designed for individuals in marketing, public relations, advertising and event management.  This adventurous experience enhances skills in all aspects of event management.  Our leaders, known, as your Drill Sergeants, help ignite your abilities and imagination as you progress through the various hands-on activity workshops over the two days in the spectacular learning environment at the Steam Whistle Brewing, The Roundhouse.

Every recruit leaves with more experience, skills and resources to use from Special Event Boot Camp.  Our mandate is to deliver valuable insight into all levels of the event management  process based on standard practices.

On day one the curriculum focuses on Planning, and day two Design and Production.  Boot Camp is taught in learning zones including Strategic Planning, Socia Media, Green Meetings, Culinary, Rentals and Tents, Edutainment, Etiquette, Decor and Design, Live Production and Novelties.

It culminates with an Inauguration Celebration on Tuesday, August 12.  Friends, family and industry colleagues are invited to join us in an evening reception.  Registration is open until August 9th for the reception and guests can register on-line.

Registration & Cancellation Policy

Registration is non-refundable, however, you may send a substitute in your place. Please notify Special Event Boot Camp in writing to bootcamp@eventedge.com with your changes.

Privacy Policy

Your name, and e-mail will be published in the Special Event Boot Camp which will be available on-line distributed to all recruits. You will receive information and updates from the leaders about ongoing events.

Photographs and video tape may be taken during Special Event Boot Camp. By registering for this event you agree to allow Event Edge to use photographs and/or video tape that may include shots or likenesses of you in any Special Event Boot Camp or Event Edge publications, marketing and promotional materials, or our web site. If such photos/video are used, you are not entitled to receive any remuneration, royalties or other such payment.
